About Rotary and our club
Neighbors in Plum Borough, part of a global fellowship of people of action.
Rotary International
Rotary is a global network of more than 1.2 million neighbors, friends, and problem-solvers who unite to create lasting change across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves. For more than 120 years, Rotary’s people of action have stayed with projects until they're finished.
Clubs work together to promote peace, fight disease, provide clean water and sanitation, improve maternal and child health, support education, grow local economies, and protect the environment.
Mission. We provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.
Vision. Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
Object of Rotary
- Develop acquaintance as an opportunity for service.
- Hold high ethical standards in business and the professions.
- Apply the ideal of service in personal, business, and community life.
- Advance international understanding, goodwill, and peace.
The Four-Way Test
Of the things we think, say or do:
- Is it the TRUTH?
- Is it FAIR to all concerned?
- Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
- Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
Plum Rotary
The Rotary Club of Plum Borough "Plum Rotary" — carries that mission into Plum Borough, Pennsylvania. We are part of Rotary District 7305. We do not try to do every Rotary cause at once. Our working focus is Education, Health & Safety, and Fellowship & Peace.
